Speaker: Rachel Robitz, MD 

Rachel Robitz, MD is the Medical Director of Turning Point Community Program’s Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic and volunteer clinical faculty at UC Davis. She does consulting work around human trafficking and health for HHS’ Office of Trafficking in Persons and as an expert witness in cases involving human trafficking. She completed residency in combined family medicine and psychiatry and a fellowship in community psychiatry at UCSD. She was previously the Program Director for UC Davis’ Family Medicine/Psychiatry residency. She also previously worked as a psychiatrist for multiple programs for people who have been trafficked. She has written and presented extensively on human trafficking and health. Her advocacy efforts have centered on improving the well-being of people who have experienced violence through policy work.
