Nathan Russell Harper, MD

Dr. Nathan Russell Harper is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at East Carolina University, Brody School of Medicine.

Dr. Harper is a combined trained physician in Internal Medicine & Psychiatry.  He is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, and Psychosomatics.  He completed medical school at West Virginia University and residency at ECU Brody School of Medicine.  He went on to complete a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle.  He is the Medical Director of the Inpatient Psychiatry unit at Vidant Medical Center.  He is involved with resident training and supervises residents in the Consult Liaison Service and in the Internal Medicine Resident Clinic.
