Speaker: Ernestine Chaco, MD, JD
Dr. Ernestine Chaco is Diné (Navajo) from Tsé’íí’ahi (Standing Rock), New Mexico. She is Tò’áhani (Near-the-Water People) born for the Háltsooí. (Meadow People). She dedicates her success and perseverance to her mother, Theresa Tsosie. She is incredibly proud of her heritage. She is currently an Emergency Medicine Resident Physician at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She holds a medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine and a law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law with a focus on Indian Law.
