Psychiatry Liaison Service Faculty Position. The University of Kansas, School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry has an opportunity for an energetic and highly motivated early or mid-career faculty member to join our academic team. The candidate will be part of a dynamic and growing liaison services group, and support our advancing combined medicine and psychiatry training program. The successful candidate will have an MD or DO degree, be a graduate of a US combined residency program in Psychiatry and Internal Medicine or Family Medicine/Psychiatry, and be eligible for licensure in the State of Kansas. We are particularly interested in candidates with additional graduate training or significant experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, onsultation/Liaison, or Psychosomatic Medicine. Area of clinical and/or research interest should be specified when applying. Some flexibility exists for uniquely qualified individuals to mold the position around their expertise.
Based upon interest, previous academic experience, and history of subspecialty clinical or research program development, the faculty member appointed to this position may be eligible for advanced rank, tenure track, Regent’s Clinical Scholar contract, or clinical faculty appointment.
